Liver Abscess, complicated with acute renal failure, Cured by Homeopathy: A Case Study

This case illustrates the efficacy of homoeopathic medicine even in conditions traditionally regarded as surgical diseases. A 70‑year‑old male, a habitual drinker, presented with persistent fever. He had initially been treated by an allopathic physician without benefit and was subsequently admitted to hospital. Investigations revealed a liver abscess with approximately 500 ml of pus involving both the right and left lobes of the liver, accompanied by acute renal failure. Clinically, the patient was severely constipated and continued to suffer from fever. Despite the conventional view that liver abscess is a purely surgical condition, this case demonstrates how individualized homoeopathic treatment can achieve remarkable results, offering relief where other systems had failed
