A 19-year-old male laborer, presented on 20/09/2017 with widespread psoriatic eruptions that began on the scalp and gradually extended over the entire body. The eruptions were accompanied by intense itching, aggravated in summer and in warm rooms, but ameliorated by exposure to cold air. The patient also reported a right ureteric calculus (8.5 mm) with associated burning during urination and obstructed urinary flow

Case Summary
Patient: 19 Years, male
Diagnosis:

Psoriasis

Chief Complaints:

- Psoriatic skin eruptions - Began on the scalp, later spread to the whole body - Associated with intense itching - Aggravation: in summer, in heated/warm rooms - Amelioration: after exposure to cold air - Right ureteric calculus (8.5 mm) - Burning during urination - Obstructed urinary flo

Treatment:

1. Kalium bichromicum - 1M (Single dose) 2, Sulphur - 200 (On closing the case)

Outcome:

1st follow-up (06/10/2027) - case improved under the effect of Kali Bichrom - 1M single dose, 2nd follow-up (20/10/2027) - No change - case still improving. 3rd follow-up (04/11/2017 - No change - case still under improvement and so on. last follow-up recorded on date 08/07/20218 no sign and symptoms of Psoriasis were present. on the same date case closed with single dose of SULPHUR - 200.

  • Dreams: present
  • Appetite: normal
  • Thirst: moderate
  • Perspiration: scanty
  • Stool: regular

  • Indisposed to talk, reserved demeanor

Prescription & Progress

  • 20/09/2017: Kalium bichromicum 1M prescribed
  • Supportive remedies given during follow-up: Seclec 30, Berberis vulgaris Q, Sulphur 200, Rubrum 30
  • Progress: Gradual improvement in itching, scaling, and urinary symptoms noted over subsequent months
  • By mid-2018, marked subsidence of psoriatic lesions and relief in urinary complaints
